BCD Travel saves clients 15% on corporate travel in 2009admin

A comprehensive analysis of the top 200 clients of travel management company, BCD Travel, reveals that the corporate travel agency saved its existing clients an average of 14.4% in business travel expenditure in 2008-09, with new clients experiencing savings of up to 30% after hiring BCD Travel to manage their corporate travel expenditure.

At a time when companies are reviewing their general expenditure in a climate of global financial crisis, BCD Travel has proven itself to be a highly effective asset for companies trying to reduce their corporate travel expenditure in today’s weak economy.

BCD Travel saved its biggest clients spending around $20 million on business travel annually around $3 million through initiatives such as reviewing their clients’ internal corporate travel policies and making changes to each client’s self-booking travel tools on their individual company profiles on BCD Travel’s unique online booking engine.

Business travel company, BCD Travel, says that many clients have had their profiles altered to disallow things such as first class bookings for flights of less than 10 hours. This involves removing buttons on a client’s self-booking travel tools instead of relying on the client’s staff to book business travel in line with their company’s internal corporate travel policy.
