Corporate travel meetings and incentives continue in first quarter
Business travel company, BCD Travel, reports that demand for meetings incentives conferences events (MICE) in 2009 has continued despite the volatile economic climate.
BCD Travel offers a full event management service for corporate travel clients booking meetings incentives conferences events, including the coordination of flights, transfers, accommodation, meals, social events, seminars and meetings. BCD Travel also has a leisure management division assisting corporate travel clients’ staff with holidays.
Many staff of corporate travel clients attending overseas meetings incentives conferences events in the first quarter have taken the opportunity to take personal holidays or ‘break aways’ before or after their work events.
The national sales team of one of BCD Travel’s multinational clients has just left for Europe for its major incentive event, with several individual staffers booking ‘break-aways’ (personal holidays) to locations such as Frankfurt, Zurich and Prague.
