FMCG client praises BCD Travel’s corporate travel managementadmin

Among BCD Travel’s Australian business travel clients is a large company in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector with an annual corporate travel expenditure of $4 million-plus and 385 staff regularly undertaking business travel in their work.

The company hired BCD Travel in early 2008 with several goals including reducing domestic business travel spend by 15%, reducing international corporate travel spend by 10% and reducing hotel accommodation expenditure by 10%.

The company also wanted a complete internal business travel policy, a simplified booking and reconciliation process and improved satisfaction among its corporate travelling staff.

BCD Travel appointed a National Account Manager to work long term with this client and after just 12 months, BCD Travel has delivered on every one of its promises.

The client’s Corporate Finance Manager said: “BCD Travel is more to us than just our travel management company, they are in fact a true business partner and they are serious about working with us to manage all aspects of our travel requirements.”
