Smart corporate travelers are ‘bleisure’ travelers
‘Bleisure’ travel is a new trend sweeping the world as more corporate travelers choose to mix business with pleasure on business travel trips.
Tourism Victoria says this trend is really taking off in Melbourne, with leading corporate travel management company, BCD Travel, confirming an increasing interest in ‘bleisure’ travel among its business travel clients across the whole country.
BCD Travel not only provides corporate travel management and event management for meetings incentives conferences events, it also assists corporate travel clients with their holiday planning and bookings through its dedicated leisure management division.
BCD Travel National Sales Manager, Stephen Finlay, said it was becoming much more common for clients to request help with leisure planning when booking Sydney business travel, Melbourne business travel and Brisbane business travel. Previously, corporate travelers had usually only attached leisure travel to overseas corporate travel trips.
